I am by nature quite a reflective and nostalgic person. Memories mean a lot to me. Many of my favorite memories are of a small village in Ontario called Sturgeon Point. I grew up spending most of my summers at our families cottage, which overlooked Sturgeon Lake. This is a picture from the front of our cottage, overlooking the lake.
I've choosen to name this blog in honor of one one of my favorite places on earth. Mainly because of family memories during the summer, the Point, as we call it, is a place I still like to go in my mind to reflect and ponder life.
I am NOT going to use this blog as an 'online diary'. However, I hope to be able to post some thoughts and reflections that will be of some interest to a small number of people.
